The St. David Tigers football squad scored 60 points and limited the host Cicero Prep Academy Centurions to 6 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Baboquivari for a 1A South (8 Man) test on Saturday, August 31. St. David will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 36-20 league loss to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Cicero Prep Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Centurions host Salome (Salome, AZ) to meet the Frogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Frogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Salome won 62-0 in their recent non-league test against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ)
