The Ridgewood Generals football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Coshocton Redskins to 2 in the Generals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Generals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host River View for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Ridgewood will clash with a Black Bears squad coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Black Bears record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Coshocton drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH) to clash with the Johnnies in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Johnnies come into the test with a record of 1-0. Johnstown-Monroe won 40-0 in their recent non-league test against Zanesville (Zanesville, OH)
