The Craigmont Chiefs football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Douglass Red Devils to 0 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chiefs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Craigmont will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Westwood (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Douglass drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host Raleigh-Egypt (Memphis, TN) to meet the Pharaohs in a 3A Region 8 test on Thursday, September 5. The Pharaohs come into the test with a record of 0-1.
