California High School Football - El Dorado nudged by Ponderosa

In Friday's non-league game, the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) football team edged the visiting El Dorado Cougars (Placerville, CA), by a tally of 20-14.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 25-13 non-league loss to Foothill (Sacramento, CA).

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Woodland Christian was edged by Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA), 27-6, in a non-league game.
