New Mexico High School Football - Highland prevails Manzano

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Highland Hornets football squad scored a good 55-28 triumph over the Manzano Monarchs.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Bernalillo defeated Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 46-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Monarchs confront the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 30. Manzano will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
