California High School Football - Hoover over Southwest SD

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), witnessed Hoover's football squad knock off Southwest SD by a tally of 58-35.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Cavers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, San Diego gained a win over Montgomery (San Diego, CA), 20-2, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders battle the Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 30. Southwest SD will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Redhawks enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Hamilton (Anza, CA).
