Georgia High School Football - Mt. Zion crushed by Lowndes

Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), 62-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lowndes advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to play the Black Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Black Knights go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Central Gwinnett won 27-0 in their recent non-league battle against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a AAA Region 5 battle on Friday, August 30. Mt. Zion will play a Raiders team coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
