In Friday's non-league match, the host Manchester Blue Devils football squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Upson-Lee Knights.

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a AAA Region 2 match, on Friday, September 6. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 33-17 non-league loss to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).
