California High School Football - Mendez falls to Van Nuys

The Van Nuys Wolves felled the host Mendez Jaguars football team by a score of 31-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves play the Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Van Nuys will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to La Puente (La Puente, CA).

The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Maywood CES was dropped by South East (South Gate, CA), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
