The Norland Vikings football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Miramar Patriots to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carol City for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Norland will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 61-7 non-league win over Hialeah (Hialeah, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Miramar drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Plantation (Plantation, FL) to meet the Colonels in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Colonels come into the test with a record of 1-0. Plantation won 27-21 in their recent non-league test against Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
