California High School Football - Norwalk smashes Montebello

August 23, 2024: Norwalk, CA 90650

The Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA) football trounced the visiting Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), 49-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Norwalk will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 48-7 non-league win over Pioneer (Whittier, CA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Montebello drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Oilers host Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary won 24-14 in their recent non-league outing against Pasadena (Pasadena, CA)
