Pennsylvania High School Football - Mount Union prevails Tussey Mountain

August 23, 2024: Saxton, PA 16678

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mount Union Trojans football squad scored a good 28-14 triumph over the Tussey Mountain Titans.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Mountaineers come into the Inter-County - South match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Berlin Brothersvalley defeated Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA), 42-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Titans meet the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 30. Tussey Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 36-16 non-league loss to Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA).
