The Raton Tigers football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Tohatchi Cougars to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar for a non-league test on Friday, August 30.

With the defeat, Tohatchi drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Newcomb (Newcomb, NM) to meet the Skyhawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Skyhawks come into the test with a record of 1-0.
