Georgia High School Football - Towns County tops Riverside Military Academy

The Towns County Indians football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Riverside Military Academy Eagles to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview Academy for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Towns County will meet a Lions squad coming off a 52-6 non-league win over Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Riverside Military Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA) to meet the Lightning in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Lightning come into the test with a record of 0-2. Lanier Christian Academy lost 32-14 in their recent non-league test against King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA)
