The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Vista PEAK Prep Bison (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), witnessed Vista PEAK Prep's flag football squad edge Gateway by a tally of 2-0.

The Bison (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northfield (Denver, CO). The Nighthawks enter the 5A City contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Northfield was nudged by Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO), 44-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Olympians battle the Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans (Aurora, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado contest, on Wednesday, September 4. Gateway will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 19-12 league loss to Mountain Range (Westminster, CO).
