Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), 34-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Union Mine improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Diamondbacks host Truckee (Truckee, CA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Truckee won 15-6 in their recent non-league battle against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)

The Lancers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Foothill for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30.
