Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) and the host Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO), saw Eagle Valley's soccer squad prevail over Moffat County by a count of 5-1.

The Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO). The Demons enter the 4A Western Slope battle with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Moffat County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
