West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, West Scranton moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Invaders host Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-0.

The Wolfpack now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Columbia for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Wilkes-Barre will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Benton (Benton, PA). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-0.
