The Arnett Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Porum Panthers to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canute for a Class B battle on Tuesday, August 27. Arnett will confront a Trojans team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Porum moves to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers host Panama (Panama, OK) to confront the Razorbacks in a non-league battle on Monday, August 26. The Razorbacks come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Panama lost 5-1 in their recent non-league battle against Wilburton (Wilburton, OK)
