In Friday's non-league test, the Crescent Tigers (Crescent, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK), by a tally of 9-0.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Oilton Panthers (Oilton, OK) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 24. Crescent will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 5-2 league win over Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK).
The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Glencoe (Glencoe, OK). The Panthers go into the Class B test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Glencoe was routed by Wellston (Wellston, OK), 14-0, in a non-league test.
