In Friday's non-league match, the host Norman North Timberwolves softball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Stigler Panthers.
The Timberwolves (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Owasso tipped Choctaw (Choctaw, OK), 6-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Bartlesville Bruins (Bartlesville, OK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 24. Stigler will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Bruins go into the match with a 9-2 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Muskogee (Muskogee, OK).
