The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) and the visiting Wyandotte Bears (Wyandotte, OK), observed Preston's softball team get by Wyandotte by a tally of 8-6.

The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Altus (Altus, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Altus tipped Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK), 14-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Afton Eagles (Afton, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, August 26. Wyandotte will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 38-31 league win over Welch (Welch, OK).
