In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Lindsay Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Albany Lions.

The Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Graham (Graham, TX). The Steers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Graham beat Borger (Borger, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 23. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).
