The Ponder Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Alvarado Indians to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wimberley for a non-league outing on Friday, August 23. Ponder will play a Texans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX). The Texans record now stands at 8-0.
