With the win, Shallowater advances its record to 13-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to face the Steers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Steers go into the test with a record of 6-3. Graham won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Archer City (Archer City, TX)

The Hornets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Aspermont will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pampa (Pampa, TX). The Buckaroos record now stands at 2-7.
