Texas High School Volleyball - Stratford over Clear Springs

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) and the host Clear Springs Chargers (League City, TX), observed Stratford's volleyball team top Clear Springs by a count of 3-0.

The Spartans (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tompkins (Katy, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Tompkins notched a victory over Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Chargers battle the St. Agnes Academy Tigers (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Clear Springs will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 13-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over St. John's (Houston, TX).
