In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chaparral Lobos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Clint Lions.

The Lobos (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, San Elizario was nudged by Montwood (El Paso, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 23. Clint will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
