Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Meridian improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Alma (Alma, MI) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Comets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farwell for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Coleman will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
