Cristo Rey Saints (Sacramento, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Victory Christian Vikings (Carmichael, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cristo Rey advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Saints host Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA) to face the Capitals in a Sacramento Metropolitan test on Tuesday, September 10. The Capitals go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Victory Christian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
