California High School Volleyball - Foothill tips Ponderosa

August 23, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) and the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), observed Foothill's volleyball team hold off Ponderosa by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Gridley was tipped by Colusa (Colusa, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bruins battle the Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Diamondbacks enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA).
