In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grulla Gators.
The Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.
Next, the Gators meet the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 23. Grulla will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lobos enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX).
