In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Queen City Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Linden-Kildare Tigers.

The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against CHAAMP HomeSchool (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, CHAAMP HomeSchool was nudged by Queen City (Queen City, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Linden-Kildare will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
