In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Penelope Wolverines.
The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Rice beat Milford (Milford, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Kopperl Eagles (Kopperl, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Penelope will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
