The Boyle County Rebels football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Bullitt East Chargers to 7 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rebels now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. Boyle County will face a Eagles team coming off a 41-21 non-league win over North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County triumphed over Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 54-21, in a non-league test.
