Gamble Montessori Gators (Cincinnati, OH) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting New Miami Vikings (Hamilton, OH), 28-0 in a non-league match.
The Gators (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Lockland (Lockland, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Lockland went down by Finneytown (Cincinnati, OH), 21-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Vikings meet the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. New Miami will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Greyhounds go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH).
