New Mexico High School Football - Laguna Acoma overwhelmed by Legacy Academy

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks overwhelmed the visiting Laguna Acoma Hawks football squad by a margin of 47-8 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Silverbacks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hope Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Legacy Academy will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Laguna Acoma falls to 0-1 on the year. The Hawks host Zuni (Zuni, NM) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league game on Friday, August 29. The Thunderbirds enter the game with a record of 0-1. Zuni lost 55-0 in their recent non-league game against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM)
