Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY), 66-29 in a non-league match.

The Commodores (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blazer was routed by Raceland (Raceland, KY), 17-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Titans confront the Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Mercer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 30-24 non-league loss to Bell County (Pineville, KY).
