The St. Ignatius Wildcats felled the visiting Avon Eagles football team by a score of 31-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Clarkson North North (Mississauga, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 25. St. Ignatius will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
With the defeat, Avon drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. Nordonia lost 32-12 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)
