California High School Flag Football - Mendota can't hold off Chavez

Chavez Titans (Stockton, CA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Mendota Aztecs (Mendota, CA), 7-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Chavez improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Titans travel to Los Banos (Los Banos, CA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Los Banos won 44-0 in their recent non-league test against Gustine (Gustine, CA)

With the defeat, Mendota drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Madera (Madera, CA) to meet the Coyotes in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 0-2. Madera lost 48-8 in their recent non-league test against Merced (Merced, CA)
