With the win, Pacheco advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers host El Capitan (Merced, CA) to encounter the Gauchos in a non-league bout on Monday, September 1. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 5-0. El Capitan won 41-0 in their recent non-league bout against Madera South (Madera, CA)

The Titans now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a San-Joaquin Athletic Association bout on Wednesday, August 27. Chavez will encounter a Yellowjackets team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-5.
