With the win, Rio Linda advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA) to play the Troubadours in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Troubadours go into the battle with a record of 2-0. St. Francis won 40-0 in their recent non-league battle against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA)

The Lancers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. Cordova will play a Eagles team coming off a 40-13 non-league win over Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
