California High School Flag Football - Newport Harbor sneaks past Torrey Pines

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Newport Harbor Sailors flag football squad scored a close 13-6 triumph over the Torrey Pines Falcons.
The Sailors (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Esperanza tipped Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 26-14, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Falcons play the Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Torrey Pines will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 18-6 non-league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).
