In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), by a margin of 4-0.
The Indians now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Beechwood for a District 35 challenge on Monday, August 25. Holy Cross will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over St. Henry (Erlanger, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Boone County moves to 1-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Conner (Hebron, KY) to battle the Cougars in a District 33 contest on Wednesday, August 27. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 2-3.
