In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Kentucky Country Day Bearcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Danville Admirals.

The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Eagles go into the District 28 outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Eastern was edged by Providence (Clarksville, IN), 7-0, in a non-league test.

The Admirals now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Western Hills for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Danville will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Frankfort Christian Academy (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-5.
