The Providence Pioneers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Eastern Eagles to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Providence will play a Rangers squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Eastern moves to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-2. Pleasure Ridge Park lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY)
