In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Mt. Vernon Marauders soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs.
The Marauders (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Cougars enter the Hoosier Heritage outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Greenfield-Central by Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Grizzly Cubs confront the Columbus North Bull Dogs (Columbus, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 25. Franklin Community will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bull Dogs enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, IN).
