Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH) boosters went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH), 10-1 in a non-league outing.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Athens (The Plains, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Athens prevailed over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) in a Ohio Valley test, on Tuesday, August 26. Gallia Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Pointers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
