The Madison Cubs soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Silver Creek Dragons to 0 in the Cubs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cubs now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host South Ripley for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Madison will face a Raiders team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Austin (Austin, IN). The Eagles come into the Mid-Southern game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Austin was overwhelmed by Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN), 9-0, in a non-league game.
