Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) and the visiting Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), saw West Geauga's soccer squad triumph over Madison by a count of 7-0.
The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH). The Red Raiders come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Shaker Heights was overwhelmed by Solon (Solon, OH), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Blue Streaks now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edgewood for a Chagrin Valley - Lake match on Tuesday, August 26. Madison will meet a Warriors team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
