West Virginia High School Soccer - Parkersburg knocks off Winfield

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Parkersburg Big Reds soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Winfield Generals.
The Big Reds (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the Mountain State outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Huntington by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 4-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Generals play the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 28. Winfield will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV).
